Plumbing in Katoomba
Katoomba — anchored by Three Sisters and Echo Point — is the Blue Mountains' tourism heart, with heritage cottages, weatherboard homes, and mountain-weather-exposed properties dominating the housing stock. Cold-weather considerations matter here: pipes need lagging in older homes, frost-protection is a real consideration, and septic systems are common on bushland-edge properties.
Katoomba is a 75–110 minute run from our Earlwood workshop, depending on which side of the mountains you're on. We plan Blue Mountains jobs ahead — same-day response isn't always feasible at this distance, but we book in confirmed arrival windows and bring full diagnostic + part inventory so the job runs cleanly when we get there. Cold-weather considerations (frost-protection, lagging on exposed pipework) and septic-system servicing are part of the standard mountain-housing toolkit.
